Tim and Janessa crossed paths in 2010 when they were serving a the same ministry in the small city of Gulu. They were married in 2012 and knew they would eventually end up in Uganda and officially made the move in 2016 with their son, Silas.

Since that time, they have made a home in Gulu and serve under Cultivate Discipleship full time. They have recently added 2 new additions to their family and currently in the fostering to adopt process.

Betty as been involved in Cultivate Discipleship since April 2019. She is a valued team member and keeps us organized as we constantly learn how to operate as a non-profit ministry here in Uganda.
Betty brings 15 years of experience working with various NGO's (Non-Government Organization) and we are so blessed to have her serving alongside us.

Pastor Thomas has been a part of Cultivate Discipleship from the beginning. His heart for discipling others is very evident in the way he cares for the members of his church community, Good News Fellowship.
Pastor Thomas is actively involved in curriculum development and one of the teachers discipling those who attend our discipleship program.

Pastor Alex has been a huge part in transforming the bush covered land into a ministry site. He is a mason by trade and pastors a church full-time. All of our buildings were built under his leadership and we are so blessed to have him on our team.
