Christmas Tree Farm

That’s right! We are attemping to grow christmas trees from seed in Uganda. The process is challenging with a lack of consistent power (they first need to be soaked in water and left to begin the germination process in the in the fridge for a few weeks).

In May, we managed to transplant the 1-3 foot trees that we’ve had growing in our greenhouse onto the land. We have lost some due to insects and to much rain, but we are still hoping to see this little side project take off. The hope is to use this as an income-generating project to help off-set ministry costs and help us to be self-sustaining in the future.
